Session Fees, Insurance & Payment

Session Fees
Each provider practicing through South Jersey Psychological & Counseling Services (SJPCS) maintains an independent clinical practice and sets their own fees for services. Session fees typically range from $100 to $200 depending on the provider, service type, and level of care. Some providers may offer limited sliding scale options based on availability and individual circumstances.

Insurance Coverage
Therapists are independently credentialed and contracted with health insurance companies. Because each provider maintains their own independent practice, insurance participation varies by therapist.

Some therapists may choose not to participate with certain insurance companies or plans. In the event that your selected therapist does not accept your insurance, you will be notified and may elect to:

• Select a different provider
• Utilize out-of-network benefits, if applicable
• Proceed as a self-pay patient

Because insurance companies often operate multiple plans under different names and coverage requirements may change, we recommend contacting your insurance for benefits and to confirm which providers participates with your specific insurance plan.

Payment Methods
All fees are paid directly to your treating provider, not to SJPCS.

Please note that providers maintain their own forms, billing policies and payment arrangements.
